2010 BIFD AGM & Conference

The 2010 BIFD AGM and Conference Weekend rolled around again, on the 29th to 31st October. This time the event was hosted at the Bellhouse Hotel in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire and was presented by the BBC News presenter Bill Turnbull. As usual, some of the Eulogica staff were there to show support.
David Wright and Nick Stokes went along for the weekend, setting up a stand alongside fellow exhibitors. The weekend was the first time Nick had been to a BIFD conference, or indeed any conference of the funeral professionals, after joining the team in April. David, being a BIFD member, participated in the AGM.
The Friday evening entertainment consisted of a traditional barn dance, which was enjoyed from a safe distance by David and Nick where 'barn dance' was a little closer to 'bar dance'! Saturday evening was a black tie banquet dinner with a comedian and a 7-piece jazz band providing the entertainment.
