Beverley Hadfield with Eulogica's Nick Stokes

Beverley Hadfield with Eulogica's Nick Stokes

A & M Hadfield Funeral Directors have operated in Barnsley for 100 years. Beverley Hadfield is the 3rd generation of the family to work in the business. When the only computer in the office failed, taking their Dignity Software installation with it.

Bev was stuck and as she had already been interested in Eulogica she asked for the system to be installed as soon as possible.
Being from Barnsley, Bev makes full use of her very Yorkshire vocabulary, which suited Eulogica's Nick Stokes very well, as he is from the same part of the country. Nick headed over that day to gather as much information as possible - including the old Dignity data so that it could be imported into Eulogica.

Two days later and Nick was on-site once more to install the system and do some training. "Dignity failed and within 3 days Eulogica had a working system ready to go. Nick explained his questions in English (well, Yorkshire!) and most importantly, he listened to the answers I gave." says Bev "Nick was very patient with me while we were doing the training and the training itself was excellent. Also, he didn't eat too much spice!" (sweets).

With most clients that move from another system to Eulogica, we offer the opportunity for old data to be imported into the new system. For Bev this meant 11 years worth of funeral data being imported into Eulogica from Dignity.

The new system and the support that comes with it has given Beverley the confidence that life will be much easier now, particularly with administration and recouping outstanding debts. "I feel supported. I am able to easily run off reminder and follow up letters to chase money. The system is straightforward and innovative, it captures the imagination. I particularly like the service icons!"
